Mangaluru, May 25: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel instructed officials of the NHAI to speed up the process in relation to the construction of a flyover between Nanthoor and KPT junction of the city on NH 66.
Nalin held a meeting in this regard at his office at the DC complex of the city on Wednesday and discussed projects that are in the initial and in progress stages in the district.
The MP instructed the officials to take action with regards to the land acquisition, cutting of trees, shifting of electricity poles and the case that is in court with regards to the land acquisition at Nanthoor.
Vivek Jaiswal, regional head of NHAI, additional DC H Krishnamurthy, project director of NHAI Lingegowda, Dakshina Kannada DFO Dr Dinesh Kumar Y K, Mescom executive engineer Lohith and special land acquisition officer Binoy were present.
