Mumbai, Jul 17: Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara(ZNMD) has earned a excellent collections at multiplexes in metros like Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore and reportedly it has been sold for Rs 65 Crore to Eros International.
Though the movie had grand opening in metros, it did not run well in single screens, in face some reports said it was a disaster. The Hrithik - Katrina pair seems to be the prime attraction, and main source of collection.
On the releasing day, Friday, the movie reportedly earned about 7 crores and on the following day it earned 3 crores. On Sunday, it is expected to do well, due to holiday. But from Monday, it is expected to slowdown.
"The movie is expected to earn about 60 crores at the box office during the first week", one of the distributors revealed without disclosing his name.
"Katrina is the lead lady here, and people have huge craze for her. Though movie has three lead roles in Hrithik, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akthar, it is Katrina who outshines" says the distributor.
The general opinion is, ZNMD is a great entertainer, but it is interesting to see, whether it will recover its investment. Whatever is is expected to collect in the first week, also include the satellite and music rights.
