Mangaluru, Jul 7: In a tragic incident, a 36-year-old man identified as Diwakar, son of Aanandgowda and resident of Kadaba Taluk, has taken his own life today at the newly constructed building of Wenlock Hospital. Diwakar had been admitted to Wenlock Hospital on June 30, 2023, due to heavy alcohol consumption.
The incident occurred around 8:30 am when Diwakar was found hanging at the construction site.
His brother, Chandrashekar, has lodged a complaint with the South Police Station regarding the incident. The police have registered a case under UDR No. 54/23, as per Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
Further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances leading to this tragic incident.
