Bantwal, Jul 7: A government employee tragically took his own life by hanging in Vittal.

The deceased, identified as Prashanth (30) and a resident of Meginapete, was employed as a D group employee at the Vittal government hospital. It is suspected that he committed suicide due to family issues.

Police from Vittal station visited the scene and have registered a case.

    Suicide cases are increasing year by year. Center and State govts should jointly conduct "Human Psychology test" or "Stress management program" at govt hospitals or primary health centers. People suffering from depression might visit these centers and open up with their problems, which they don't want to share with their family or friends, Also, at school/college level, students should be trained to handle stressful situation & challenges in life.
