Bantwal: Man slips while crossing foot over bridge, falls into drain; dies

Bantwal, Jul 9: A man died as he slipped from a foot over bridge on which he was walking to cross a drain and fell into it at Pariyalthadka of Punacha village in the taluk.

Keshava Naika M, a resident of Mayila Moole of Punacha village is the deceased.

Keshava was living in a rented house at Pariyalthadka. In order to reach his house he has to cross a foot over bridge that is built across the drain in which water flows during the monsoon. As he lost balance, he fell into the drain and lost his life.

A case in this regard has been filed with Vittal police station.
