Puttur: NIA makes public announcement for Praveen Nettaru murder case accused Masood’s surrender

Puttur, Jul 17: On Sunday, July 16, the NIA (National Investigation Agency) sleuths visited the house of K A Masood, resident of Agnadi Mane under Uppinangady 34th Nekkiladi village and one of the accused in Praveen Nettaru murder case, who is absconding at present and pasted the copy of the second time order of the court to present himself in the court before August 18.

The officials of the NIA also announced on public address system on the roads that the house of Masood will be confiscated if he does not surrender to the court within the given deadline and also announced prize to the public if they convey any clue about Masood.

The sleuths also pasted the notice of the court on the bus stand of 34th Nekkiladi village. On June 28 too, a similar announcement and pasting of the first notice of the court was done by the NIA sleuths in the city. However, during the first time, just two days’ time was given. This time around more than one month time is given for the absconding accused to surrender.

Masood who is the state level leader of PFI organization is named as the fifth accused in Praveen Nettaru’s murder case. Uppinangady police assisted the NIA officials in pasting the notice on the door of the accused’s house and also in the bus stand.

    It's always problematic when a faction treats other people as subhuman, punishes with cruelty, has beliefs tinged with megalomania. These factors result in conflict almost everywhere. It's hardest on the citizens of those countries. Every country is witnessing this.

    If the same zeal was shown at the golden period of investigation of Sowjanya case today we as people wouldn't live with anguish and guilt of apathy... Everything is considered as per prejudiced priorities... Poor girl's torture and death is near nothing for the corridors of power... What a shame???!!!...
