Kundapur: Electricity wire fallen amidst waterbody repaired using kayaking boat

Kundapur, Jul 18: Mescom personnel repaired an electrical wire which was fallen amidst a waterbody at Kota Betlakki Hadoli, using kayaking boat on Monday July 17.

The wire got snapped as a bush was brushing against it during heavy winds. As the wire fell into a spot which was surrounded by water, it was not possible to repair it. Dayananda Salian of Parampalli procured four boats from Kayaking Point and took four to five personnel and got the wire repaired.

Locals have highly appreciated the effort of the Mescom personnel. Mescom assistant engineer Prashant Shetty, personnel Chandrashekhar, Harish, Arun, Ummer, Santhosh and Mehboob took part in the operation.
