Mangaluru: Union Bank of India conducts 'Feet on Street' campaign to promote its facilities

Mangaluru, Jul 18: Union Bank of India organized the 'Feet on Street' campaign at APMC Baikampady on Tuesday, July 18.

The brainchild of General Manager Renu Nair, the 'Feet on Street' initiative aims to raise awareness about the bank's offerings and services. During the campaign, Union Bank of India showcased the "Ab Naari Ki Baari" scheme, which provides loan sanctioning for women entrepreneuRs Several women entrepreneuRs were also presented with sanction letteRs during the event.

Additionally, Union Bank of India announced its provision of educational loans for students up to Rs 40 lacs and unsecured loans for meritorious students. The bank also offeRs home loans for plot purchases.

The 'Feet on Street' campaign entails reaching out to shops and businesses to communicate the banking facilities available to them.

Krishna Murthy, branch manager, M S Qureshi, deputy regional head, and Mahesha J, regional head of Union Bank of India's Mangaluru Regional Office, along with others , were present during the event.

Union Bank of India offers a range of schemes to empower women and MSMEs, including Union Nari Shakti, Union MSME Suvidha, Union Mudra, and Union Women Professional Personal Scheme, among others The bank also provides women savings schemes such as Union Samriddhi and Union Unnati, tailored to meet the specific needs of women customers.

UNION MSME SUVIDHA

? All units engaged in the Manufacturing/ Services/ Trading activity, eligible to be classified under MSME.

> Loan Quantum: Up to Rs 50.00 Crore

>Rate of Interest: Based on Collateral Coverage: Average Rol is 9.95%

UNION MUDRA

? All Micro enterprises engaged in manufacturing, trading and service sector including professionals (like CA/ICWA/CS/Architect/Medical professionals etc) will be eligible under the scheme.

Loan Quantum: Up to Rs 10.00 Lac

No Collateral

Rate of Interest is EBLR +2.00% (Approx)

Union Women Professional PeRs onal Scheme Practicing Chartered Accountants, Architects, EngineeRs , ValueRs , Management/ Financial Consultants, Company Secretaries, Cost Accountants, etc.

>Loan Quantum: Up to Rs 50.00 Lac

? Rate of Interest: EBLR+3.00% i.e., 12.30%

UNION SAMRIDDHI

> Quarterly Average Balance Rs 15,000/- only

Rupay Platinum Debit Card

ATM access at own ATM-Unlimited free per month

> Cash Withdrawal limit; Rs 75,000/-

    First they should focus to improve their banking services. One of the worst banks which has not adopted online banking efficiently. Even in this digital age, they require account holders to physically come to the branch and run behind them filling physical paper forms for basic services like KYC updation and debit card renewal.
