Kundapur mourns the death of renowned photographer, studio owner Robert D'Souza

Kundapur, July 19: This morning, the photography community and the people of Kundapur bid a tearful farewell to Robert D'Souza (77), the esteemed proprietor of Bharath Studio and a senior photographer. He was also the founding president of the Kundapur taluk photographer's association, where he later served as the honorary president until his passing.

Robert D'Souza's illustrious career began at Basanth Studio in Sagar, after which he established his own venture, Bharath Studio, located on Masthikatte road. For nearly six decades, he passionately pursued his profession, leaving an indelible mark in the world of photography.

He is survived by his wife Delfin, three children, and three grandchildren, with one of his sons serving as a priest. The final rites of this revered photographer will be conducted at 3 pm on Thursday, July 20 afternoon at the Holy Rosary Church in Kundapur, as per sources.
