Byndoor: Uppunda boat tragedy - Body of missing fisherman found

Byndoor, Aug 2: The body of fisherman Satish Kharvi's who went missing after a boat accident on Monday, July 31 evening, at Karkikali in Uppunda's Madikal here, was found late night on Tuesday August 1.

The mortal remains of Satish was found floating near Koderi Port sea walk near Uppunda. Locals identified it and gave information.

The police and locals had been searching for Satish from Monday evening.

It may be recalled, the country boat capsized while returning to the shore after a fishing trip. While Satish went missing, Nagesh Kharvi who sustained serious injuries was promptly rushed to the hospital. However, he succumbed without responding to treatment.
