Mumbai, Aug 9: With her recent success in Hollywood's 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes', the 'Slumdog Millionaire' actress Freida Pinto said that she does not like the word 'Bollywood' but prefers using the term 'median cinema' while referring to the Hindi film industry.
Freida said, “I don’t like the word Bollywood, I like to use the phrase median cinema instead. I think sometimes when you use Bollywood you’re only thinking mainstream and thereby omitting people like Satayjit Ray and others who are equally amazing and have contributed so much to the world of cinema.”
However, the actress said that if she was approached for a Bollywood movie, she would definetly go in for it if the script impresses her.
Even though the Freida is quite well to do with her movies being super hits, she is yet to find herself a 'dream house'. She is keen on buying herself a house not only in Mumbai but also London, New York and Montreal.
Speaking about her wishes she said, “I'm still looking for that one place where I can put my name at the door. I know it’s very ambitious at this point in time but I want homes in [Mumbai], London, New York and Montreal. A girl can dream.”
