Mumbai, Aug 17: Residents of Dheeraj Solitaire, the society where Neeraj Grover was murdered will be recieving a special screening of the controversial movie 'Not a Love Story' which is scheduled to release on Friday August 19.

Director Ram Gopal Varma said that he wanted the residents to have a unique experience as the movie is more or less based on the murder that took place in their society.

The movie script that is based on the real life murder of Nerraj Grover had initially faced a lot of hurdles on its path. The film maker had earlier fought against the main accused in the case Maria Susairaj and Jerome Matthews who have been convicted by the court.

Matthews and Susairaj had asked for pre-screenings in order to gauge whether they have been portrayed in a negative light.

Sources say that Varma himself has offered a special screening to Susairaj. However, she has not yet reverted to his request.

The movie has actress Mahie Gill playing the role of Susairaj and actor Deepak Dobrial playing Jerome's character.
