Thank you, Judith Pinto and David Pais. While my Konkanki is good even after not writing or speaking it since leaving Mangalore 77 years ago, my Kannada is not as good and although I still remember a few lines of Mahabharata from my Kannada professor Pandit Krishna Bhat and the story of Paschatapa from another pandit Balakrishna Bhat, that was in high school 1945-46 !!! But I do remember the script. Thank you again.

The movie is nothing but a few school level skits put together with a poor storyline. If it was produced as a documentaey it would have been good.

Is OSMITAY a Konkani word, or a derivative? Does the title of the Movie mean anything? Curious to know as I have not heard that word before and, naturally, it is not in the vocabuulary of my Konkani book (published two years ago).

hi Mohan, Osmitay means Identity. It is similar to the word Asmitha in Hindi.. though the word is not spoken very frequently in common use, I remember reading in literature books.
