Bantwal, Oct 1: A heavy truck belonging to KNRC Company veered off the road and fell into a drain in the inner Mani area after the driver lost control. Fortunately, the driver emerged unscathed from the incident.

This truck is operated by KNRC, a company contracted for the construction of the National Highway road from BC Road to Addahole. The local public has alleged that not only this truck but also other vehicles have been involved in accidents in the area.

This concern was brought up during a recent meeting between the MP, local traders from Kalladka, and the general public.

The public voiced complaints about the reckless and negligent driving behavior of the company's truck drivers and demanded appropriate action against them. Despite the meeting, several accidents continue to occur in various places, including Melkar.

The public also called for senior company officials to address this serious issue to ensure the safety of their lives.
