Mangaluru, Oct 13: Tulu movie 'Kudru', produced under the banner Moksha Creations, directed by Bhaskar Naik was released on October 13 at Big Cinemas.

Actor and movie director Dr Devadas Kapikad inaugurated the release event by lighting the lamp along with professor of Mangalore University College Laxman Kumar, artiste Praveen, actress Priya Hegde, actor Harshith Shetty and director Bhaskar Naik.

'Kudru' has been shot in Kannada. It was dubbed in Tulu as well.

The story of the movie is related to the coastal belt. Harshith Shetty and Priya Hegde are playing the lead roles in the movie.

'Kudru'was shot in Udupi, Goa, Malnad and also at an oil rig in Saudi Arabia. Diana D’Souza, Farhan, Namitha, Praveen Bangera, Sathish Acharya and Godwin are also playing pivotal roles in the movie.

The premiere of 'Kudru'was held in Manipal and Bengaluru. Udupi Krishna Achar has written the dialogues of the movie. The music is composed by Pratheek Kundu, and the movie is captured on the lens by Shree Puranik, Pradeep Deepu and Udupi Prajwal and edited by Srinivas Kalal.

Apart from Mangaluru, the movie will be released in Bengaluru, Ballari, Mysuru, Davanagere, Shivamogga, Hubballi, Belgavi, Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Udupi, Kundapur, Karkala and Sullia.
