Beltangady: Tipper- mini bus collision – Passengers, driver escape with minor injuries

Beltangady, Oct 22: A tipper carrying an excavator and a mini bus vehicle collided head on near Jain Pete of Guruvayanakere, early in the morning on Saturday October 21.

The passengers in the mini bus were of Guntur in Andhra Pradesh origin. They were going to Udupi. The tipper was moving towards Beltangady. The front tyre of tipper came out of the shaft due to the impact of the collision.

The mini bus Shivakumar, passengers Vipuladhana, Aiyappa, Jasweer, Yashwin, Anuradha, Padma, Shivakumar, Harshith, Rameshwara and Tipper driver Udaya escaped with minor injuries. They were all admitted to a local hospital.

A case is registered in Beltangady police station. More than four hours of traffic jam occurred due to the accident. Office goers and students got delayed for the same reason.
