Beltangady, Oct 28: To develop among students the spirit of practising, participating and performing in activities and events, Holy Redeemer School conducted various events for its students.

School inter squad cultural event competitions were held on October 27 in the school auditorium.

For the tiny tots of playschool, drawing and rhymes telling competitions were held. For the tiny tots of kindergarten, fancy dress, rhymes reciting and story-telling competitions were held.

For the junior squad, Kannada and English group action song and western solo dance competitions were conducted. For the senior squad, folk and patriotic group singing, western and folk solo dance competitions were conducted.

Participants took part with immense competitive spirit.

Eminent persons in the respective fields were called on for judging the events. Teachers and parents, being very supportive, encouraged the participants.

Headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto congratulated all the winners and motivated the participants to use the opportunities to showcase their talents. Competitions were well organised by the in-charge teachers and marked a great success.
