Beltangady: Kannada Rajyothsava celebrated at Holy Redeemer School

Beltangady, Nov 4: Kannada Rajyothsava marks the formation of the state of Karnataka and the unification of Kannada-speaking regions. Fifty years of this joy of formation and unification was celebrated by the Kannada Club members of Holy Redeemer School on November 4 in a very meaningful way.

The celebration began by singing the state anthem followed by floral tribute to Kannadambe.

Allen of class 10 narrated the significance of the celebration very beautifully.

Through melodious singing and vibrant dances, the club members from Class 1 to Class 10, showcased the richness, heritage and culture of Karnataka state. Intresting facts on each district of the state were depicted wonderfully.

Correspondent Fr Walter D'Mello and headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto were present and addressed the students with their motivational message.

The programme was compered by students Veona Rego of class 10 and Mallika of class 9. Club mentors Pallavi and Sumithra organised the programme skillfully.
