Kasargod, Nov 29: The disappearance of four young minor boys including three students under Kasargod police station limits after the abduction of a six-year-old female student from Ozoor, Kollam district sent shockwaves among the public.
Out of the four missing boys, three students had returned from school on November 27. They had later gone out to play from home. The students and another boy in the vicinity had not come back even after late night. All of them are aged below 15 years. Their parents had lodged a complaint at Kasargod police station.
The police alerted various police stations including Mangaluru. Among the missing boys, one was in possession of a mobile phone. The police who conducted investigations on the basis of the tower found that the phone was located in Udupi.
The local police immediately informed the police in Udupi and took into custody all the four children with their help. Their parents went to Udupi along with the police and escorted the children to Kasargod police station.
The children have been handed over to their parents after counselling. The children have said that they had planned to go on a picnic to Goa. The parents are feeling relieved after finding their children.
