Jeddah: BMA Organizes Grand Eid Milan Programme

Jeddah, Sep 4: The Bhatkal community in Jeddah celebrated Eid with Eid Milan programme organized here at Red Sea Hotel recently.

The programme received a large number of people residing here and others hailing from Bhatkal, who were here to perform Umrah.

The celebrations commenced with address by Jamia teacher and Khateeb Millia Masjid Moulana Ansar Madani.

Association secretary Qamar Sada greeted the audience and wished all Eid Mubarak. Later Moulana Maqbool Kobatte addressed the gathering and discussed about upcoming events at Jamia to mark its Golden Jubilee.

Students hailing from the taluk, who excelled in their board exams here were felicitated with certificates and medals. The session was compered by Mohammed Yaseen Askiri.

It was followed by cultural programmes including short-skits, mizahia-mushaira and quiz competitions and was compered by Shuaib Koteshwar.

There was a lucky draw wherein participants tried their luck on around seventy items such as Hero Honda Splendor, Gold Necklace, Gold Coin, Laptop, Desktop and Mobile Phones. Syed Tayeb Naite won the Splendor Bike while Haroon Damda won Gold Necklace.

Ansar Kasimji, Abdullah Damudi and Mohammed Zahid Ruknuddin among others were present. Ishaque Shabandri proposed vote of thanks.
