Mangaluru, Dec 6: Srinivas University organised the Orientation Programme of Post-graduate Courses 2023-24 on Wednesday, December 6 at Srinivas Hotel here.
The honourable chancellor of Srinivas University and president of A Shama Rao Foundation, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, in his presidential address, said, "In our institution, students will have the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to fulfil their dreams. Improve your communication skills, be dynamic in your field and society so you can become a future leader. Wherever and whenever you get the opportunity, grab it and make use for your success."
The pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation, Dr A Srinivas Rao, emphasized, "In today's industry, there is a demand for specialized students. Students should be committed to their studies so that they can achieve their dreams. During post-graduation, students will strengthen their knowledge in a particular field and build their self-confidence. Students have to actively participate in all the programs to develop their knowledge and secure a bright future."
Srinivas University vice chancellor and registrar, Dr Anil Kumar, administered the oath and advised students to start looking at everything in a different way, as doing so will lead to success in their careers. "The more you learn, the more you earn, so concentrate more on learning," he added.
Dean of IPSLM Dr Sonia Noronha, dean of ICIS Dr Subrahmanya Bhat, dean of IAS Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean of IET Dr Thomas Pinto, dean of IHMT Prof Swaminathan S, dean of IJMC Prof Sushmitha, Srinivas University placement officer Prof Shwetha Pai were present.
Dean of IMC & ISSH Prof Venkatesh S Amin welcomed the gathering, HoD of IET Prof Swarna Kanchan proposed vote of thanks. Prof Divya Naveen, Dr Kavyashree and Dr Sujaya H compered the programme.
