Mangaluru, Dec 28: At approximately 10:30 am, a sizable coconut tree uprooted and collapsed across the road near Shivabagh Pumphouse in the city, creating a potentially hazardous situation.

Fortunately, due to providential timing, no vehicles were on the road, and there was no pedestrian movement at the time of the incident, preventing any injuries or damage.

The quick response from traffic police, Mescom, and fire service personnel played a crucial role in managing the situation.

Swiftly arriving at the scene, they worked together to clear the fallen tree, ensuring the prompt restoration of traffic movement.
