RIP! There's an old saying in Konkani; flood water comes as a large gush abruptly and stops as fast; but stream (aquifier) water flows slowly and steadily and lasts for a long long time!!

There is a difference between being rich and being wealthy. Rich is only temporary but if you are wealthy you have achieved something in life. Winning a lottery, some TV show reality show is only temporary. You need to be disciplined in your investments when you start earning a substantial amount. Many KBC, lottery ticket winners have not done well with thier money earned. May his soul rest in peace

A opinion, all jackpot or lottery winners face same fate is not right. Most of the people, after winning big amount unexpectedly, develops bad habits or become greedy and try to double the money they got & invest without proper planning and incur losses later on. So, it's very important to know money management & stick to ground, no matter whatever the situation.

This jackpot win can bring happiness or misery..Again a very heart touching incident. When he won he was speechless, shocked and taken with a surprise. But the same win bringing disaster in the form of death is terrific.Money is not everything in life.

True. A year back or so i read this story about a humble lower middle class guy in kerala stuck a lottery for 14 crore or so. As you can guess his life completely changed. So much so that for some time he went into hiding. Every tom, dick and harry, relatives, neighbours etc started hounding him for some money.
