Beltangady: Gas cylinder transport vehicle overturns

Beltangady, Feb 4: On Saturday evening, a pickup transporting cooking gas cylinders overturned near the water fountain on the Ujire-Dharmastala road.

The incident occurred when an autorickshaw suddenly encountered the pickup truck carrying gas cylinders. In an attempt to avoid a collision with the autorickshaw, the driver of the gas cylinder vehicle steered the vehicle, causing the pickup to overturn. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the mishap.

Beltangady Traffic PSI Arjun and personnel visited the scene and conducted an inspection.

    Especially Gas cylinder transport vehicles, Police on highways always warn every vehicle to slowdown at turning points. Usually they should be alert between 3am and 6 am. And slowdown the speed, if other vehicles coming from oposit direction.
