Mangaluru: Alfred Bennis Creations' 16th 'Stan Nite' enthralls massive crowd at Bondel

Mangaluru, Feb 5: The 16th 'Stan Nite' took place on Sunday February 4, at the grounds of St Lawrence English Medium School in Bondel, organized by Alfred Bennis Creations, Mangaluru, and the St Lawrence Cultural Committee in support of the St Lawrence Church project.

The programme commenced at featuring various entertainment performances by the artistes.

Stany Mendonca, Joseph Mathias, Elton Pinto, Adolf J, Alywn Noronha, Jason Lobo, Adline Pinto, Miss Varna D’Souza, Velita Lobo, Sasha D’Souza, Joswin, and Pappan Calicut on keyboard & lead guitar, bass guitar - Joel D’Souza, saxophone & flute – Reuben Machado, trumpet - Nizel, rhythm pad - Ganesh Babu, and tabla-dholak & congo - Veekshit entertained the gathering with their enchanting music and Konkani melodies. Sound & lights by Chris Electronics, artistes from Memory & Friends lightened the atmosphere with their humorous acts. The audience was awestruck by the brilliant dance performance by Urban Groove.

Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, the parish priest of Bondel church, presided over the programme. He thanked Stany Mendonca and Alfred Bennis for presenting the Stan Nite for a noble cause. He further stated that the funds generated by the show would be utilized for the church project of St Lawrence Church.

Roy Castelino, the chief guest, said, "Tonight, we are all witnesses to the extraordinary work of Alfred Benny’s Creation, whose passion and creativity have brought us together in this moment of celebration. As we embark on this inspiring church project, I extend my heartfelt best wishes to each member of the dedicated team involved."

Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, Roy Castelino (chief guest), Louis J Pinto (president, Mandd Sobhann), Joseph Mathias (entrepreneur), Ravi Pinto - UK, Alfred Benny’s (Organiser), Stany Mendonca, Alwyn Rodrigues, Santhosh & Miss Andrea Menezes, Dr Preethi Keerthi D’Souza - conveyor Cultural Committee, John D’Silva vice president PPC Bondel, and Felix Moras-Angelore were present on the dais.

A cheque of Rs 5 lac was handed over to Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, parish priest, St Lawrence Church Bondel, by Alfred Benny’s (organizer) and Stany Mendonca.

The programme was compered by Leslie Rego. Dr Preethi Keerthi D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks. The audience appreciated the brilliant performances.
