Bantwal: Driver loses control of bus after tyre burst, hits parked auto; 4 escape unhurt

Bantwal, Feb 5: The driver of a KSRTC passenger bus lost control of the vehicle that he was driving after its tyre got burst. The bus crashed against an auto that was parked nearby and fell into a drainage pit here.

This incident happened on N C Road in the Punjalkatte police station limits this evening. Four passengers travelling in the bus escaped with minor injuries.

The KSRTC bus was on its way from Belthangady to Mangaluru. The bus tyre got burst as it reached Kavalamudoor N C Road, according to the bus conductor.

The auto turned turtle due to the impact of the crash. The passengers in the auto had gone to a shop and therefore they escaped unhurt.

    Tyre bursts can be a serious problem and every effort must be made to check the quality of tyres It can cause sometimes severe damage It is always better to check tyres before start of any journey
