Bantwal: Jalandhar woman in ‘unusual’ love pursuit, police intervene

Bantwal, Feb 7: In a peculiar turn of events, a young woman from North India arrived at the doorstep of a young man's house in the vicinity of Vittal, Karnataka, on Tuesday Februray 6. The police in Vittal have brought her to the station for questioning after she attempted to persuade the young man to accept her love.

The young woman, originally from Jalandhar in Northern India, was employed at an institution in Bengaluru. It is reported that she became acquainted with the young man from the local area and developed an affectionate relationship, which also involved financial transactions.

According to reports, the distressed young woman arrived near the young man's residence on Tuesday evening, expressing her desire to profess her love for him. However, the young man, who had allegedly promised to reciprocate her feelings, was nowhere to be found. In an attempt to convince him to accept her love, she waited outside his house.

Local residents, sensing the unusual situation, informed the police, who arrived promptly from the Vittal police station. They escorted the young woman to the station for further investigation. The police presence ensured the safety of both communities gathered at the scene.
