Karkala: Leopard jumps on moving car, damages vehicle

Karkala, Apr 5: A leopard leaped onto a moving car at Sooral Kariyakallu on the outskirts of town, resulting in damage to the vehicle.

Suryakanta Suvarna (38), a resident of Sooral, was driving towards his home around 8 pm on Thursday.

As he approached the bend in the Sooral road, a leopard suddenly jumped onto his car and quickly fled the scene.

The car's bumper sustained damage in the encounter. Fortunately, Suryakanta himself escaped unharmed.

    Very dangerous.Sudden attack even on vehicles?Am sure their number has increased enormously,no food in forest ,hungry stomach ,must be having kids.or must have got some smell of Fish or meat?Keep always a light all the night.Darkeness is their trumph card.Govt must do something to reduce their Population or humans wll be their next meall
