Udupi: Miracle in Parkala – Water overflows in well despite scorching summer heat

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Apr 10: A miracle has occurred in a well which was observed near Bhavanikatte Garadi of Parkala in the simmering heat of the summer.

The water level from the well instead of getting depleted has been found overflowing into the nearby trench also. Around seven years ago as well the same phenomenon had occurred in this well about twice or thrice.

Most of the wells of Bhavanikatter vicinity have dried up due to summer. However, the well in Sanjeeva Naika's house is not only full, but it is overflowing into a nearby trench through a hole found on the wall of the well.

A diesel and a electric pump have been fixed to draw water into the farms by the neighbours. Even after this exercise, the water level in the well seems to be not getting depleted. In addition, the level of water in the nearby houses is also rising due to this well.

In 2017, a mild earthquake had occurred in this area. In that year, water overflowed from the well for the first time. Geologists had visited the site then and said that due to the tremors the Laterite stone layer had moved and some huge spring of water must have got connected to the well. This information was given by social worker Ganesh Raj Saralebettu.

@Eva; Do you still believe in miracles after seeing and reading how much of injustice is going on around the world?? I don't mean to disturb your faith in the power of an unknown entity, but if you look at the bigger picture....rationally???

Sign of impending earthquake, sudden rise or fall in water levels in wells, bore wells, or water bodies. This had happened during Latur and Gujarat earthquakes at many places.

As mentioned in the news report similar type of incident occurred in 2017 followed by a mild earthquake and geologists already gave their explanation (movement of laterite stones giving way to an aquifer) at that time; looks like some intensive seismic activity is happening due to the intense heat and the same phenomenon akin to what happened in 2017 has occurred again! Attributing this to a miraculous event would be a God sent oportunity to smart charlatans to fool the gullible and innocent public.....for very obvious reasons. Enough of miracles.... now let's think rationally and place humanism before any... ism!!

Bro Suresh; firstly, my comments are very objective and only with reference to this particular newsreport; secondly, I am not aware of any miraculous water coming out from the earth through a pond in the church mentioned by you; thirdly, I do not believe in any organised religion, groups, cults etc etc... hence my comment is unbiased and not at all "religion specific"...I hope you understand!
