Washington, Oct 9 (IANS): US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will address a US-India Higher Education Summit here Oct 13, with Washington saying it envisions a "robust role" for the two governments in promoting and encouraging the "vibrancy and depth" of their cooperation in the sector.
Indian Minister for Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal
will also speak at the opening of the summit, being hosted by the US-India Business Council at Georgetown University, the US Department of State said Sunday.
Indian Ambassador to the US Nirupama Rao and former US Ambassador to India and President Emeritus of Colorado College Richard Celeste will speak at a working lunch.
US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Kapil Sibal will deliver the closing remarks.
On Oct 12, Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and Kapil Sibal will speak at an reception ahead of the Summit.
