Speaking to the media on Tuesday, April 23, Vishwas Kumar Das stated, "We have garnered unwavering support from the backward classes for Congress candidate Padmaraj throughout our campaign. Notable leaders like Janardhana Poojary and Veerappa Moily have consistently worked towards the welfare of the backward community. Padmaraj, through his NGO, Guru Beladingalu, has been a steadfast supporter of the backward community, aiding the needy and advocating for harmony. Therefore, we are confident that Padmaraj will emerge victorious in the upcoming elections."
