Udupi, May 31: Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, bishop, diocese of Udupi, released the list of transfers of priests serving in the diocese on Friday May 31.

In the major transfers exercised, Fr Vishal Lobo has been appointed as parochial administrator of Perampally. Fr Anil D’Souza will take charge as parish priest of Udyavar. Fr Stany B Lobo has been appointed as parish priest of Kuntalnagar, Fr Wilson D’Souza has been given charge as director of diocesan liturgical commission, Fr Stany Tauro will take charge as parish priest of Kota, Fr Vijay D’Souza has been appointed as assistant parish priest and principal of St Mary's English medium school Udupi.

Meanwhile, Fr Leo Praveen D’Ssouza has been given responsibility as director of Udupi diocesan commission for ecumenism and as assistant parish priest of Udupi. Msgr Ferdinand Gonsalves will continue his service as vicar general with new additional responsibility of diocesan co-ordinator of pastoral commissions. Fr Ashwin Aranha has been appointed as diocesan vocation promoter and director of PMS. Additionally, Fr Alban D’Souza will take responsibility as forne of Karkala deanery.
