May his soul rest in peace. I have not seen linemen having safety gear. A thorough investigation is the need of the hour to save lives of linemen.

Sad indeed, may his soul rest in peace. Was he working alone on the transformer? If the government did something to improve MESCOM, the lineman’s life could have been saved.”

RIP!! Worst power utility provider; their own linemen are getting killed so frequently, shudder to imagine the fate of the innocent citizens who too perish time and again by coming in contact with live electric ⚡ wires......due to shoddy workmanship and junked equipment; imagine a company lineman working on live transformer...... God save the inhabitants...!

Our very own Maharashtra State Electricity Board is a zillion times better than this condemned MESCOM. In the history of Maharashtra State Electricity Board there's never been a death of any of it's linesmen or staff. Such a disgraceful company MESCOM is.

Very very risky place; high chances of perishing by an HV electric shock especially during the rainy 🌧 😬!!

Indeed very sad state of affairs. Even the basic safety materials like hand gloves and footwear are not provided to these poor low salaried linemen.
