Kasargod: Moharam gift - Heartwarming reunion after six years

Media Release

Kasargod, Jul 18: Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Center in Manjeshwar celebrated a touching reunion on Thursday, July 18. The center rescued a mentally challenged young man from Wenlock Government Hospital in Mangaluru on November 9, 2019. Unable to communicate his identity, he was named Bablu and received necessary care at the center.

In an attempt to get official documentation, the Aadhaar Seva Kendra, Mangaluru initially rejected Bablu's application for an Aadhaar card. However, they later retrieved his old Aadhaar details, revealing his true identity as Dawalsab Darubai. Although the contact number on the card was blocked, the Hubli Police Station assisted in obtaining his father's contact number.
