People in the administration may be of the thought that rainy season is a rear (rarity) occurrence in this place, which is notorious for torrential rains since times immemorial! Just imagine what would be the mental state & confidence level of these youngsters (excluding present smaller children) when they get out to start working in real world conditions and start fending for themselves in this ruthless, capitalistic world!!🤔😞🙏🙏

We never used to get so many holidays when we were kids in 90's. Used to sit inside the class room like a wet crow silently. They should do class from home like in COVID days.

“However, engineering colleges, diploma colleges, ITIs, and post-graduate courses will operate as usual” I think the administration thinks these guys are super humans ? These students are not at risk ?

District administration is not blind or ignorant. Holidays decaled for safety of kids who come from rural areas in auto rickshaw school buses where road conditions are not safe to travel & flooding all along. Your guys who study in colleges are near to adulthood. so when there's a trekking in tourist destinations, swimming near waterfalls is not a big job doing ding Dong stunts is not a problem. Why do you need holidays? to have some fun..
