Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Aug 6: A case was registered at Barke police station regarding the disappearance of Calista Ferrao (18) from her home in Bejai on July 30.

A team of Barke police, led by the inspector, reviewed CCTV footage and social media accounts accessed by the missing girl.

They verified more than 3,000 Instagram and Moj accounts, eventually tracing Calista to Karkala.

Upon inquiry, it was noted that Calista was struggling to make decisions mentally. Since she refused to return home with her parents, she has been sent to Swadara Centre.

"Who used to go to New Chitra Theatre to watch late-night English movies, Flavian?” Henry Sab, How did you get that info.? (May be you are known to me in some point of time😯) New Chitra talkies always screening English films. (Cowboy, detective & horror m0vies.) Horror movies (Dracula series) we used to watch with group od friends in my neighbourhood because coming back after watching such scary films was very panic stricken. We used to run till we reached home in Valencia not even looking back (not to encounter any Cristopher Lee images)

@ Flavian Kwt, You wrote about horror movies in Daijiworld 5-6 years ago. I remembered this when I was in Bahrain. Also, many of my acquaintances, including the late Alwin Suares, were your friends.

Hello everyone!!! Greetings I’m Nithin Suvarna from Bejai mangalore as a well-wisher We are relieved the news that Calista is back home safe and sound! However, i want to clarify that her return was not just about the mobile game restriction, however she is not matured enough and Calista is currently undergoing treatment at a rehab center in Mangalore to address some mental health concerns. We know what happened. Dont write comment like this. In karkala where she stayed for so many days. She jus wslked off with her mob. I will write some imp points and that time her mental condition was proper or what tell me. First of all she walked off in bare hands. 2) she left the house when everyone was present. Thirdly, she removed sim. 4. She went by auto and so on. Suddenly her mental condition got deteriorated how? She doesn't want to go to her parents. Why? She is 18 yr old girl. Joined automobile course. Poor mental imbalanced girls study this? All girls are same who do run away. Police should defend everyone n not particular religion. Stop defending Nitin. Parents fault for not keeping good relationship with dsughter. Father busy with the work and mother busy in her household chore. When mother knew she was spending 15 hours on what ? Why then n there only some strict measures were not implemented? And whom? Who gave her idea to leave sim? Games gave idea to walk off without sim? When mother enters quickly switching on to games from chatting.

Addiction to mobile phone, chats, internet, games, various live shows, reels and fake friends on the internet has spoiled younger generations!!! Many Parents allowing teenagers unlimited access to these gadgets made them addicted and do nonsense unethical ways.
