Karkala: BJP workers accuse Congress of assault over Parashurama Theme Park dispute

Karkala, Aug 8: BJP workers here have accused Congress workers of attacking them in connection with a dispute over the Parashurama Theme Park.

According to a complaint lodged at Ajekar police station, Congress workers Deekshith Shetty and Ankith Hegde are alleged to have assaulted three BJP workers —Uday Nayak, Nithyananda Kulal, and Roopesh Kumar — following a social media post critical of Congress.

The injured BJP workers have been admitted to Karkala Government Hospital for treatment.

In response, Congress worker Deekshith Shetty has filed a counter-complaint about the incident.
