Karkala, Aug 10: A car overturned while attempting to overtake another vehicle at Muniyalu on the state highway between Karkala and Hebri. The car struck the road divider and flipped over.
The incident occurred on the four-lane stretch of the state highway near Muniyalu. Two cars, both filled with young passengers, were trying to overtake each other. The accident reportedly happened because the driver of the front car did not yield to the car behind.
Passengers in the overturned car sustained minor injuries. Police have gathered information on both vehicles involved, noting that negligent driving and speeding contributed to the accident.
