Udupi, Aug 16: Adarsh Hospital celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Dr Jaspreet Singh Dill, a renowned neurosurgeon at Adarsh Hospital.

Following the flag hoisting, Dr Dill addressed the gathering, emphasizing that the unity and integrity of India are the foremost duties of every citizen. He remarked that while India is a melting pot of diverse cultures from all directions, the nation's strength lies in the unity with which its people live, thereby reinforcing the country's resilience.

The celebration included the singing of the national anthem and the flag song, which filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervor. The event witnessed the active participation of the hospital's medical director Dr G S Chandrashekhar, along with a large number of medical and non-medical staff, patients' families, and well-wishers of the hospital. The event was successfully concluded with the senior manager of the hospital Diago Quadros, who served as the master of ceremonies.
