Just 42 Cr? look at Bangalore and other Districts where they get 42000 Crores and roads are constructed without any delay. Mangalore is the slow and No developing town in Karnataka. No Foothpath and all the roads are been concreted without proper engineering nor design. all the roads in Mangalore is raised by 1.2 Meters in Height and the shops are gone below the roads. Great work by PWD and Local Ministers for taking Mlore 25 years back

Very happy to read this. But travelling to our house there are big pathholes looks like you purposely dug to put two wheelrs riders in those patholes. If it not correct repair roads please. All roads especially nanthoor kpt, nanthoor omanjoor roads and nantoor juction. We see dams and bridges built in the waters and why not possible to repair during rainy season why.

Nice to see the low amount allotted to DK. There are innumerable roads in and around Mangaluru. Please do the locals a favour....visit by a four wheeler and if you travel by auto, you can get first hand information....more clear. Please start from Mangaladevi....visit cross roads as well...Falnir, Kankanady, Balmatta, Jail road, Matadakani, Parts of Car street, Bunder, Urwa, Kuloor....I can go on. My intention is to see Mangaluru real a smart city, not just on paper. I also want to draw your attention on Mangaluru _Bengaluru road. It is horrible. Good luck.

Sir, these days, ₹42 crore is not a substantial amount. What’s the status of the Nanthoor and KPT/Padua flyovers? By the way, what happened to the state grants? Aren't these roads under the jurisdiction of the State PWD Ministry? What projects are being planned to create employment opportunities for local youth? And what progress has been made towards fulfilling the Tuluvas' dream of including Tulu in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution?

Good to see our MP getting the funds for road development. Hoping all these projects are started immediately and completed as per time. Also request our MP to look at pending projects from NHAI like BC Road to Sakleshpur NH, Kulur bridge, Bikarnakatte to Karkala NH, flyover from Kulur to Baikampady, etc. Also timely completion of KPT and Nanthoor flyovers is required. Also we need expressways to be constructed between Bengaluru to Mangaluru and Mumbai to Mangaluru. Please plan this. If expressway is there between Bengaluru to Mangaluru, then road travel would reduce to around 3 to 4 hours (from current 7 to 9 hours).

Believe it or not, NHAI is actually losing money at toll booths. As usual govt is so inefficient that they send more to collect money at toll booths than they actually collect. That is why they have started to implement GPS tracking toll ( which they should have does in the first place, but you know how our govt runs.
