Mangaluru: St Theresa’s student shines at CISCE games & sports 2024

Mangaluru, Oct 7: Saneeha Shetty, a promising athlete from St Theresa’s School, has made her mark at the CISCE games & sports 2024, achieving outstanding results at both the regional and national levels.

At the regional level held at Indian Public School, Bengaluru from August 16 to 18, Saneeha clinched first place in both the 200 meters and 400 meters events in the U-17 girls' category. Her stellar performance qualified her for the CISCE national level, held at G M C Balayogi Stadium, Hyderabad, from September 25 to 27.

Saneeha continued her winning streak at the national level, securing second place in the 400 meters event. She also led her team to victory, earning first place in the 4x100 meters and 4x400 meters relay races. These remarkable achievements have earned her a spot in the prestigious School Games Federation of India (SGFI).

Her coach and school authorities expressed pride in her accomplishments, commending her dedication and hard work. Saneeha’s success serves as an inspiration to other aspiring athletes at St Theresa’s School.

The school community extended its heartfelt congratulations to Saneeha and wished her the best as she prepares for the SGFI competitions to be held in Lucknow.
