Beltangady: Accused wanted in 34 theft cases arrested

Beltangady, Oct 14: Police arrested a man wanted in multiple theft cases on October 13 after he had been absconding.

The arrested accused is identifed as Hameed alias Jafar Hameed Hane Kumhimonu, from Padangadi.

Hameed has 34 theft cases registered against him across police stations in Bantwal, Uppinangady, Kadaba, Puttur, Venur, Dharmasthala, Punjalakatte, Mangaluru City, Bunder, Belur in Hassan, Koppa, Hariharapura, Moodigere in Chikkamagaluru district, Padubidri, Madikeri, and Kerala.

Beltangady police apprehended the accused.
