Mangaluru, Oct 20: Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College, held its annual exhibition, ‘Bridging to knowledge: explore every path’ on October 19.
The event began with a prayer service invoking blessings for the occasion. The inauguration featured a creative display where in butterflies were released using helium balloons accompanied by a dramatic effect created by mixing potassium permanganate with hydrogen peroxide.
Assistant headmistress Sr Pushpa AC welcomed the distinguished alumna and recipient of the Rabindranath Tagore award for her literary contributions. She was joined on stage by joint secretary Sr Violet Tauro AC, PTA vice president Dhanalaxmi and principal Sr Ujvala AC.
Head of the institutions Sr Ujvala AC. expressed her delight at the large scale participation of students in the exhibition.
The chief guest reflected on the inspirational life of the founderess Mother Veronica, emphasizing how her wisdom and life shaped her journey. She encouraged students to think innovatively and creatively sharing anecdotes that underscored the importance of values instilled at Ladyhill Victoria Composite P U College.
The programme ended with the thankful note by teacher Bhavyashree and was skillfully compered by teacher Manjula. The event was a testament to the vibrant spirits and talents within the school.
