Instead of Brand Bengaluru, city has become Venice: HDK
Union Heavy Industries Minister and JDS leader lashed out D K Shivakumar for turning Bengaluru into Italy’s Venice forcing people to move around the city in boats due to flooding instead of Brand Bengaluru.
Kumaraswamy said the people of Bengaluru are suffering due to rampant encroachments into lakes and tankbeds and entire city has become a lake instead of its famed image of Silicon Valley of India, Garden City and Knowledge Capital of the country.
The JD(S) leader said the city is suffering as those who grabbed the lakes have come to power.
