Karkala, Oct 24: Postal officials from the Karkala and Puttur postal divisions have earned widespread praise for their kind gesture of facilitating Aadhaar update services at the doorstep of an ailing family in Karkala.
Trisha Dinesh Poojary, a 10-year-old girl from Dombrapalke in Yennehole, has been battling a brain tumour. Her mother is also severely ill, and the family is facing financial difficulties. They needed to update their Aadhaar biometric details and correct their address but were unable to visit the post office due to their health conditions.
The family contacted the Karkala head post office, requesting home assistance for the Aadhaar update. In response, the marketing team from the Puttur postal division visited the family’s home and successfully completed the necessary biometric updates and address correction.
Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Kota Srinivas Poojary shared a video of the event on social media, praising the postal officials for their service. He lauded their efforts, stating, “In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious postal schemes, postal officials are delivering exemplary services. By working in this manner, you not only earn divine grace but also the blessings of people in need. Congratulations to you all.”
The community has warmly welcomed this heartening gesture.
