Mangaluru: Jesnia Correa of Mount Carmel School shines at Nationals with 5th consecutive CBSE gold

Mangaluru, Oct 25: Jesnia Correa, a talented Grade VIII student of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, has once again showcased her brilliance in roller skating by clinching the gold medal in the 500m rink race for the fifth consecutive year. She secured this prestigious title at the CBSE National Skating Championship, held at Good Shepherd Central School, Belgaum, beginning October 23.

Her exceptional winning streak marks her as one of the brightest talents in roller skating. Jesnia’s dedication, hard work, and passion for the sport have made her a source of pride for her school and family. With each race, she solidifies her position in the national skating arena, proving that her success is the result of persistent effort.

Already a CBSE national-level gold medalist in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023, this year’s victory marks her fifth gold medal at the nationals. Jesnia currently trains at Hi Flyers Skating Club, Skate City, Ashoknagar, under the guidance of coaches Mohan and Ramanand. Her parents, Jerome Correa and Preethna Correa of Bejai, proudly celebrate her ongoing success as she aims for even greater achievements.
