Kaup, Oct 26: In a startling incident, a 19-year-old woman went missing from her home in Achchada, Katapadi, in Moodabettu village on the night of October 24.
The missing woman, identified as Shashikala, a resident of Achchada, is a BCom student at a college in Udupi. According to reports, Shashikala was having dinner with her mother when she stepped outside during the meal and suddenly disappeared. Despite searching nearby relative's homes, her mother could not locate her.
Following the incident, Shashikala’s family lodged a complaint at the Kaup police station. A missing person’s case has been registered, and police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
