Kuwait, Oct 27: Acclaimed Konkani movie producer Melwyn Peris arrived in Kuwait on Sunday, Oct 27, for the eagerly awaited premiere of his latest film, Payann. Organized by the Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA) in collaboration with the Konkani community in Kuwait, the event promises a star-studded celebration of Konkani cinema.

The organizing committee, including KCWA president Naveen Mascarenhas, AKFK president Norbert D’Souza, KCWA executive committee member Alban D’Souza, and Prakash Pinto, welcomed Melwyn Peris warmly at Kuwait International Airport. "We are honored to have Melwyn Peris with us today. His work has inspired countless filmmakers and audiences worldwide," they expressed.

Expressing his gratitude, Melwyn Peris said, "I’m thrilled to be here and share this film with such a passionate audience in Kuwait."

The Payann premiere is set for Thursday, October 31, at 7 pm at Ozone Cinema, Khaitan, with special screenings. Attendees can expect an exclusive viewing experience celebrating Konkani cinema’s magic. Entry passes for regular shows can be reserved on Ozone Cinema's website.
