Udupi: MCC Bank holds Deepavali celebration

Udupi, Oct 30: MCC Bank Brahmavar, Kundapur, and Udupi branches jointly celebrated Deepavali at the Brahmavar branch premises.

The celebration began with a prayer song sung by the staff of MCC Bank, Brahmavara branch.

President ‘Sahakara Ratna’ Anil Lobo initiated the lighting of the lamp, joined by other guests on the dais.

In his presidential address, chairman Anil Lobo emphasized the significance of the Deepavali celebration, stating that the festival fosters a spirit of brotherhood among people. He also expressed gratitude to the customers for their continued support of the bank.

During the occasion, the guest Eshwar Malpe was felicitated by chairman Anil Lobo for his achievements and contributions to social service.

Another guest on the dais, BN Shankar, during his speech, highlighted various celebrations organized by MCC Bank including Teachers' Day and Bakrid at the Brahmavara branch.

Additional superintendent of police of Udupi district PA Hegde was present during the occasion and conveyed his best wishes for the bank’s future success.

Shridhar, a businessman from Brahmavar, Kundapur branch manager Jyothi Baretto and Udupi branch manager Pradeep D’Souza were also present on the dais.

The branch support director, Elroy Kiran Crasto, warmly welcomed the guests.

Jyothi Baretto, branch manager of Kundapura, proposed the vote of thanks, while Ovin Rebello, branch manager, compered the programme.

The programme was followed by entertainment conducted by SP musical, Kundapur and Unic Dance Academy, Amparu.
