Media Release

Moodbidri, Nov 11: The students of Grade IV and V of Carmel School Moodbidri embarked on an unforgettable educational field trip to Dharmasthala. The trip, aimed at offering students hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom, was met with great enthusiasm from both students and staff. Accompanied by their class teachers, the school coordinator, and a group of supportive parents, the students set off with a heart full of excitement and anticipation.

Throughout the journey, the air was filled with songs and laughter as the students bonded, creating a joyful atmosphere. Their first stop was the Manjusha Museum, where they were greeted by an impressive collection of historical artifacts spanning multiple centuries. The museum’s diverse displays – ranging from historical relics and ancient literature to zoological specimens and intricate photographs of art and architecture – captivated the students. They marvelled at items used more than three centuries ago, gaining valuable insights into the rich heritage of the past.

After a refreshing lunch, the students engaged in lively games and enjoyed some time in the park, where their energy was palpable. The next exciting destination was the aquarium, where a dazzling array of fish species caught the students' attention. With wide-eyed curiosity, they eagerly learned about the different aquatic creatures, adding to their knowledge of marine life.

The adventure continued as the students explored the car museum, which featured a remarkable collection of vintage cars from different eras and countries. Each car had a story to tell, transporting the students through time and showcasing the evolution of automobiles. The sight of these classic vehicles, each a symbol of its era, was a highlight for many.

A visit to the elephant shed followed, where the students were treated to an unexpected delight – two elephants performing playful dances, much to everyone’s joy. Their movements and interactions charmed the students, leaving them with unforgettable memories of the magnificent creatures.

One of the most awe-inspiring stops of the day was at Jama Ugrana, where the students witnessed the enormous scale of operations behind preparing food for large crowds. The sight of the raw materials and the organization involved in feeding thousands was both fascinating and educational, leaving the students in awe of the precision and effort behind such a grand undertaking.

To end the trip on a sweet note, the students enjoyed some delicious ice cream, which added to their happiness. They returned to school with their hearts full, cherishing the lessons learned, the laughter shared, and the joy experienced throughout a day filled with exploration, discovery, and fun. This field trip to Dharmasthala was not only a break from their regular routine but also a memorable educational experience, leaving lasting impressions on all who took part.
